Canadian apparel chain Just Cozy plans to open at Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda in October, filling the storefront vacated by streetwear boutique KICKZ.

Just Cozy, headquartered in London, Ontario, specializes in affordable cold-weather leggings, winter accessories and loungewear, with most items priced between $10 and $20, The MoCo Show reported.

KICKZ, which sold sneakers and streetwear, closed after nearly three years at the Democracy Boulevard mall, as we reported Oct. 9. The store opened Oct. 29, 2022. It still operates locations at Potomac Mills Mall and Francis Scott Key Mall, according to Robert Dyer's blog, which noted the KICKZ space had been cleared out, with empty shelves and packing boxes on the sales floor.

The swap is one of several tenant changes at Westfield Montgomery in 2026. The mall has also lost Windsor, Zbounce and Pollo Campero while adding Fashion Q, Ay Mama!, Shotted and Wetzel's Pretzels, according to MoCo Show reporting.

Just Cozy has not announced a specific opening date beyond October. The mall is at 7101 Democracy Blvd.
