Four downtown Bethesda galleries will open their doors for a free evening of art on Friday, Sept. 4, when the Bethesda Art Walk returns from 6 to 8 p.m.

The Bethesda Urban Partnership, which organizes the recurring walkable event, announced the lineup on X: Gallery B, Triangle Art Studios, Waverly Street Gallery and Amy Kaslow Gallery will all participate. Visitors can start at any gallery, meet artists and enjoy complimentary refreshments.

No registration required.

Here's what's on view at each stop:

Gallery B (7700 Wisconsin Ave., Suite E) hosts The Trawick Prize exhibition, a juried competition with eight regional finalists vying for $10,000 in Best in Show prize money. The show opens Sept. 3 and runs through Sept. 27, and the Art Walk doubles as the opening reception.

Triangle Art Studios features Bethesda-based artist Eleanor Tanno in "Veiled Worlds: Hidden in Plain Sight."

Waverly Street Gallery presents "Transcendent Terrains: Outer Landscapes and Inner Temples."

Amy Kaslow Gallery (7920 Norfolk Ave.) shows "Marilyn Gates-Davis: Where We Once Belonged."

The Art Walk is a recurring Bethesda Urban Partnership event; previous 2026 editions were held in April and June. More details are available on the Bethesda Art Walk page.
