Bethesda-area residents can catch a free Taylor Swift tribute show at Cabin John Regional Park on August 13, the finale of Montgomery Parks' five-week Summer Concert Series that kicks off next week.
The series brings live music to parks across Montgomery County every Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m., starting on Thursday, July 16. No tickets or registration required for attendance. The August 13 closer at the Cabin John Regional Park Amphitheater, 7400 Tuckerman Lane, features Baltimore-based singer-songwriter Enslow and her four-piece band performing Swift's catalog. El Jefe Woodfired Pizza will have food for purchase, and Montgomery Parks is encouraging attendees to bring friendship bracelets to swap before the show.
Enslow, who blends pop, rock and folk in her original work, has built a following with her Swift tributes. A 2023 Saturday Morning Tunes show at Baltimore Peninsula drew 1,500 RSVPs in five days, prompting organizers to add a second performance.
"There's no better way to spend a summer evening than listening to music in a park with friends," Montgomery Parks Director Miti Figueredo said. "Bring a blanket, grab some food, and enjoy a fun evening outdoors."
All five concerts are free and open to all ages. Concertgoers should bring blankets or lawn chairs. Events are subject to cancellation for inclement weather with no rain date; check MontgomeryParks.org for day-of status.
