Inspire Nail Bar, a regional chain with nearly 40 locations, is headed to downtown Bethesda.
The nail salon posted "coming soon" signage at 7718 Woodmont Ave., in the ground floor of the Lionsgate condominium building, blogger Robert Dyer reported on Wednesday, Sept. 9. No opening date has been announced.
The Woodmont Avenue spot would be the chain's second location near Bethesda. Inspire already operates a salon at 10309 Westlake Drive near Montgomery Mall.
The chain has grown from five locations to nearly 40 across the Washington, D.C., region, with salons in Navy Yard, Capitol Waterfront, Bryant Street, College Park and Potomac. It specializes in nail therapies and waxing. The company's website says it uses high-end organic skin care products including Cuccio Milk & Honey, Qtica Spa and Keyano Champagne & Rose, and offers customers a complimentary beverage during services.
Inspire is on an expansion streak well beyond Bethesda. The chain is also opening at the Residences at Mazza, a Tishman Speyer luxury residential development on Wisconsin Avenue in Friendship Heights, where TJ Maxx and Total Wine & More have also signed leases, according to ConnectCRE. A Baltimore location at 2450 Rye St. opened Sept. 6, according to the Maryland Daily Record. Inspire is also among announced tenants for a $450 million mixed-use redevelopment in Frederick targeting a late-2028 first phase.
No permit filings or lease terms for the Woodmont Avenue location have surfaced in public records.
